Joe proposed to Beth on May 5, 2009 i.e Cinco De Mayo in Arcadia County Park by Santa Anita Race Track. Beth cried like a little baby and said yes!A couple days before Joe nervously called Beth's dad to ask for
permission. Beth's dad said, "you absolutely may ask my daughter to marry you."
